The Rising Sun Experience New Video

The Rising Sun Experience have just released their new video for the single "The Integrity"

Skynard - Long time users of Hiwatt

"Gary Rossington was still using a Hiwatt Custom 100 as late the 'Gimme Back My Bullets' tour before the entire band converted to Peavey. On one of the links I've attached below (the Old Gray Whistle Test), you can still see his Hiwatt Custom 100 atop a Peavey Mace. You can definitely hear the Hiwatt presence all over the 'Nuthin Fancy' album, especially on songs like Saturday Night Special, On the Hunt & Am I Losin'. Below are a few links with examples of Skynyrd/Hiwatt usage. The link with the Les Paul Forum is a series of photos of mainly Gary & his 59' sunburst, but if you scroll about half way down, there is a great photo of Gary next to his rig - his Hiwatt Custom 100 atop a Fender Twin. The other links are some video footage with glimpses of their Hiwatt gear. The link to the 1975 Winterland Concert is the entire concert with a great closeup shot of Gary Rossington cranking up the volume on his Hiwatt amp for extra feedback sustain during Saturday Night Special.
