"The thing i love about Hiwatt is the fact that every product I have used has been incredibly clean and warm at both low and loud volumes, giving it great tonal dynamics both on stage and in the studio"

"Eagle Tears aren't reinventing the wheel, we're just keeping it rolling." - J.B.

With music and its ever evolving and sometimes devolving stature in Rock and Roll, there is sometimes a movement in the tree line that puts it all back into perspective. Montreal based Eagle Tears plugged in during the summer of 2011 and began with a frame of writing and playing "timeless rock".

Cracking its shell is the single "Sweet Little Thing" in rotation on CHOM 97.7 since July off their recently released self titled debut LP.

Eagle Tears have been gigging steadily, with the recent performance at this years 2014 Heavy Montreal Festival http://heavymontreal.com and opening spots for the likes of Scott Weiland and Fu Manchu. This past September the boys completed a cross Canada tour planting seeds all the way to Vancouver and back.

Closing out 2014 this December they will be direct support for a string of Ontario dates with Monster Truck.

Eagle Tears are prepared for more road, riffs and rejuvenation...

'Hiwatts are badass.Exceptional tone is a given. The overall construction and quality of Hiwatt is above reproach, knowing that they are built for the rigours of touring. Every note, chord and solo can be heard with clarity that projects through out the stage, all the way to the back of the room.'

Karl Dawson - Underground Zero

"I bought my Hiwatt DR103 brand new in 1980 and it has been the only Amplifier I have ever owned since then … the only Amplifier that has toured gigged and recorded with, and its still as good today as it was in 1980 …. An absolute workhorse …. Its had a couple of sets of valves in it and a new volume pot over the 33 years … but it has never failed me on stage and it has been so badly abused … in a musical sense"
